My thoughts
Kate is thirty and is floating through life and when she gets a chance to interview as a writer for a hip music magazine,; she blows it by showing up intoxicated. But then the magazine which is launching a gossip magazine hires her to go into rehab to get the scoop on a famous actress also in rehab.

Yes, this could be described as chick-lit; but I wanted to read this book excuse of the music/film industry angle. The book started out great and I was getting into Kate’s character, but went she goes into rehab; it began to slow down and get repetitious. I figured out where how the story would end, but still an enjoyable fluffy read; one you could take to the beach or cuddle up to the fire one evening.
