It’s been some time since I Have had a giveaway and the books are piling up. So here is a new giveaway. I am giving away ARC copies of the following books:
All That’s True by Jackie Lee Miles
When The Thrill Is Gone by Walter Mosley
Breach of Trust by David Ellis
One winner will win all three books. All you have to do is answer the following question and leave an e-mail address and you are entered.
Now with the internet and social media sites, the world has gotten smaller and people are reconnecting with people they have not seen in decades. My question is – Do you think this would entice you to attend your 30th High School Reunion? (Or is if it already passed, did you attend?). The winner will be picked at random and your answer will have no effect on your entry, but not answering the question will disqualify you.
This contest is open to US residents only.
Ends: Friday, April 1, 2011 - WINNER IS Linda!

Hi Dan,
Since reconnecting with high school friends on Facebook, I would definitely be more inclined to attend my 30th class reunion (especially if I knew they'd be there).

No, I didn't attend my 30th class reunion. The people I went to school with are all strangers to me now.

I think 30 was the last one I went to. I didn't really care for most of those people when I was in high school and have nothing in common with them except for being older and attending the same school and the history of the world. Life experiences have not brought us closer in all the years. The people I hung out with don't attend. I quit going...too far away and don't really enjoy myself enough to spend the time and money.

No, I really don't have any interest. I did have one guy recently come up to me and tell me he had a crush on me in high school. I just looked at him and said, it would have been better to tell me that during high school than now(he has a wife and 3 kids, that went to school with my son). I just don't like dealing all that stuff.

I didn't attend my reunion. I have a few close friends from high school, and we keep in touch. The internet didn't make a difference in my decision.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I've never gone to a class reunion and I don't have any desire to do so.

I spent the entirety of high school huddled in a corner and reading books, so I never got to know any of my classmates. For that reason I'm not interested in any high school reunions -- it would be like going to a big party full of strangers. I'm very introverted.

I would love to go to my high school class reunion. I have attended three of them, and they have been fun. Wasn't able to get to the last two.

Hey there!
Social media has definitely helped in getting people closer - even if they don't wish to!
I don't think I would attend my high-school reunion. The people who matter to me, I have already kept in contact with (thanks to social media!). But I am pretty sure I won't be able to deal with the emotions that would arise when I see the old classmates.
Some things are better left back in high-school. :)

My answer is no. I haven't had much desire to go to any of my high school reunions and since we've all gotten reunited on Facebook and had even less reason to go. I graduated from HS in Massachusetts and currently live in Louisiana and that's a long way to go! Facebook status updates are good enough.

My 30th class reunion was years ago, and I had no desire to attend.

I did not attend my 30th HS reunion and doubt if I would have even If I had been in contact with anyone from that time.
Thanks for the chance to win these books.

My 30th high school reunion has already passed, and I didn't get to go but I wanted to. I do think the internet has made me want to go more, because I joined Classmates. I am keeping a watch on the site, and plan to attend the next reunion.

I did not attend my 30th or any of the previous reunions. My high school friends are not the ones I'd like to reconnect with, but I really should look up a few from my college days!
Thanks for this giveaway, Dan. I really love Walter Mosley's books!
