I have a lot of admiration to those who carve pumpkins. I usually just doodle a face on ours so that I can save the meat for pie, soup, sauce and wine. This year I thought it would be interesting. Boy, it was a lot of work and took a long time! Although, it looks okay, it could have been better. So to all you pumpkin carvers out there, my hat goes off to you! I rather make more wine.

I only ever tried carving one once, when the kids were small and we were new to the US. We toasted the seeds.
