hmmm. The scariest would probably be The Stand or Swan Song, because they are storylines that could happen in their destruction. But there are lots of books that "creep me out". I love those books!

I don't really remember what the scariest book I ever read was. But I remember when I was a teenager, reading John Saul's books late at night. I'd keep reading because I was too scared to turn out the lights.

Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<

I always have to mention John Saul's In the Dark of the Night in a horror book discussion. It was far from the best horror novel I've ever read, but I just loved the idea behind it.

The scariest book I've ever read was "Salems Lot" by Stephen King. I don't know why this book scared me so much I had nightmares after reading it. I've read lots of vampire books and they never had this effect on me. I think of it as a tribute to Stephen King's writting and how he can pull the read in.
