My thoughts
I had never heard of Brian Keene or Richard Layman (the author whom he pays homage to) before picking up this book. I read the premise and thought it would an interesting read. My wife is a huge “Survivor” fan and I am beginning to get into the zombie genre. Unfortunately, this book did not have zombies and although the cast members were there they were slaughtered pretty quickly. This is a quick read and would make for a good back or plane ride book, but not something noteworthy. The characters were unbelievable and the ending was just a little too convenient. I am not giving up on Mr. Keene just that this book just didn’t involve me like I thought it would.
